2022 All Shrine Bowl Team

With the Shrine bowl coming to a close, I thought it would be a good time to highlight some of the top performers at this years event. There was a number of stand-out performers in this years game, I couldn’t recognize everyone but this is who I felt deserved this years honors following the close of the event. I’m not going to go in depth about the players and their performance, you can follow me on twitter ( @DiabeticTyler ) if you want to see clips from this weeks practices. Also I encourage you to check out Mike Hrynyshyn’s twitter he has been putting out clips as well, you can find him at ( @MikeHDraft ) and Devin Jackson as well ( @RealD_Jackson ). Without further ado, lets get into it.

QB: EJ Perry, Brown

QB: Jack Coan, Notre Dame

RB: Pierre Strong, South Dakota State

RB: Keontay Ingram, University of Southern California

FB: Zander Horvath, Purdue

OT: Bamidele Olaseni, Utah

#Utah OT Bamidele Olaseni does a nice job on the scoop block up to the LB, gets underneath and seals off a hole for the RB to explode through. Wowed everyone with his wingspans and arm length, does a good job with his footwork and tempo to cut off the backside LB. pic.twitter.com/aaSE1hFPTe

My favorite OL performance today was #Utah OT Bamidele Olaseni who showcases his foot speed and length to handle all types of pass rushers. Very excited to see how he plays over the next few days. pic.twitter.com/BpbdZacd3X

Thought #Utah OT Bamidele Olaseni did a pretty good job adjusting playing guard today, and certainly looked the part in the team periods. Not a perfect day but still building momentum over the last few days. #ShrineBowl pic.twitter.com/YZKLvi6IPg

IOL: Cordell Volson, North Dakota State University

C: Brock Hoffman, Virginia Tech

IOL: Dawson Deaton, Texas Tech

OT: Kellen Diesch, Arizona State

Kellen Diesch has also been impressive yet again on Day 3. Quick feet, active hands, but can clamp you and the core strength to anchor and flex like this. Arm length not worrying me. pic.twitter.com/o2cxDAdJVp

WR: Tay Martin, Oklahoma State

IDL: Tayland Humphrey, Louisiana

DL: Myron Tagovailoa-Amose, Notre Dame

LB: Carson Wells. Colorado

CB: Dallis Flowers, Pittsburg State

SAF: Reed Blankenship, MTSU

MTSU SAF Reed Blankenship looking good through some of the early DB drills. One of my favorites for the last few years as a mid round guy.

I thought @UCLAFootball Safety Quentin Lake did a nice job over the first couple of days at the #ShrineBowl showcasing his versatility in coverage. Has had some fantastic one-on-one reps and made plays in short area zones. Flies across the field and playmaker on back end. pic.twitter.com/OQZz8ZOmCa

CB: Jermaine Waller, Virginia Tech

Ryan Stonehouse, P, Colorado State

Honorable mention:1) Jack Coan, QB, Notre Dame2) Skylar Thompson, QB, Kansas State3) Ryan Stonehouse, P, Colorado State

both QBs had arguments for the ‘winners” category but botched snaps kept them off.#ShrineBowl

Colorado State punter, Ryan Stonehouse had some impressive boots today, returners fumbled 2 or 3 of them #ShrineBowl
