2022 NFL Draft Grades: NFC East

Wasn’t the 2022 NFL Draft fun? I can’t remember a nuttier draft than the one we just witnessed. Now comes the time-honoured tradition of grading the draft hauls before the players that were selected have even left for their new home. Yes, it’s an unfair practice to judge players before their career has even started and realistically, we should all wait until 2 or 3 years have gone by before passing judgment, however that’s not how this media game works. Over the next few days, I’m going to look at each division’s draft hauls and basically go over what I liked, what I didn’t like, and my overall thoughts. Today we start with the NFC East.

Unlike past years, this go-around I’m really going to try and focus on grading teams based on fit and needs more so than how they drafted according to my personal big board, especially in a year that many thought the talent available was less than stellar. There are obviously outliers in this line of thinking, but that more or less comes down to strategy, and we’ll talk about everything that went into the overall draft hauls. Also, I’m not going to be including teams’ UDFA signings into their grades and the teams where I do mention their undrafted players will not have their grades impacted by it in any way. Let’s get going.
