I discussed Conner in my Twitter thread about my favourite buys and sells for each team. But I’ll go into a bit more detail here. Conner was a player that LWP4 has liked his whole career (2017 and 2018 and now in 2022). In 2021, Conner was liked more by LWP4 than most, but not enough to stand out.
Conner has been a League Winner twice in his career, 2018 and 2021. 2018 was when Bell was suspended, and Conner took his role like-for-like, with Conner holding the 173rd best season since 1999. When looking at 2021, he finished with 2 games of 30+ and 4 games of 20+ with Chase Edmonds as his RB2. Edmonds is now in Miami, leaving Conner with no competition.
Conner is listed as the #10 by LWP4, but is available within the 3rd round. Clearly, others don’t feel he can replicate his impact in fantasy last year. I, and my model, think he can and therefore, if he reaches the 3rd round, he’s being selected without a second thought.
