Hrynyshyn's Final 2022 NFL Draft Big Board

We’ve made it. The draft is in two days and we’ve finally hit the end of the scouting cycle. If you want to see the individual position rankings, you can access them by clicking on the hyperlink attached to my name above.

There’s been a lot of work going into this year’s draft and I’d be lying if I said that it’s been easy, but it’s always worth it. The Blue Chip Scouting Department was assembled prior to last year’s draft and work on this class began very shortly afterwards. I released my first 2022 NFL draft article back on June 22, but I was putting out early summer scouting reports before that. Initially, I was given the Sun Belt Conference but due to circumstances, I also took on the Big 12 before the season started, and part of the SEC in the offseason.

I want to take some time to thank the people that made this year’s draft work (mock drafts, reports, big boards and all) possible. First, I’d like to thank my family for putting up with me once again from September thru to April. There’re always a lot of nights when the DVR is flooded with college football games for me to cram through so I can remain transparent throughout the process. There are also the countless nights where family time involved me having to grind tape on the laptop, but that time with the family means everything to me. In short, my family drives me to keep going in this scouting journey because they’ve always encouraged me to follow my passions and to do what I can in order to make my dreams a reality. I’d like to thank Dalton Miller of Pro Football Network because in January of 2020, back when he ran this site, he gave me the opportunity to share my content with more and more people and here we are more than two years later and I’m still here putting out content that I’m proud of while growing as a writer and evaluator. I’d like to thank the current president of BCS, Tyler Browning for keeping this site growing and motivating the staff here during those rough patches we all go through. Speaking of the staff at BCS, thank you to the team. You guys are like my second family and I appreciate you for all the support that you give me- I hope you know I would do the same for you. A special thank you to Devin Jackson. Dev, you’re like a brother to me and have helped me through so much both professionally and personally. Devin and I were two guys randomly given a podcast who barely knew each other and now almost three years later, we’ve done almost 200 podcast episodes together and have helped each other grow not only as writers or as scouts, but as people. Lastly, I want to thank those of you who have read my work throughout the year because you all make this possible.

Onto the actual big board itself. This year I didn’t get to all the players I had planned, the goal is always 300, but there were reasons for that. In the fall, I went back to school full time for a postgraduate program and school had to come first so that I could set myself up for success going forward. There also were players I’d wanted to evaluate but couldn’t due to a lack of usable tape. That being said, there are still 224 players on this board. Rather than listing out all 224 players in order as I’ve done before, this year- much like last year’s board- is comprised of screenshots from my spreadsheet. Each round has been colour-coded and will be separated as such. Quick note: players with a pink highlight over their name are players with medical flags, those with red are players with verified off-field concerns such as arrests, team suspensions or team dismissals.

Now that all the “thank you”s and preamble is out of the way, here’s my final big board
